Objectives: The purpose of this study was toinvestigate the effect of different surface treatmentson shear bond strength between PanaviaF 2.0 andTurkom-Cera.Materials and Methods: All ceramic, 10x10x2mm sized, 40 Turkom-Cera specimens wereprepared. These specimens were randomly assignedto 5 groups (n=8) according to different surfacetreatments untreated or control (group C),sandblasted (group SB) Rocatec applied (group R)hydrofluoric acid-etched (group HF), and Z Primerapplied (group Z). The resin cement blocks with 2mm height and 8 mm diameter were prepared withPanavia F2.0 from teflon mould. Then they werecemented to Turkom-Cera full ceramic specimens. The prepared specimens were kept in water in roomtemperature for 1week and then shear bond strengthtest was performed at 0,5 mm/min crosshead speedwith universal test machine. One way ANOVA andTukey post-hoc tests were performed for statisticalanalysis. Results: Groups SB and R showed statisticallysignificant higher bond strengths than other groups(p<0.001), but the difference between them was notstatistically significant. (p>0.05). Furthermore, thebond strength difference between groups C, HF andZ were not statistically significant (p>0.05).
