New Manuscript
The article can be withdrawn at this stage if desired.
Editors and field editors are assigned to the articles.
Editor Process
The preliminary evaluation of the first article submitted to the journal is done at this stage.
The spelling rules, subject and content of the article are evaluated for suitability to the journal. Afterwards, a plagiarism scan is performed via iThenticate. (The maximum acceptable similarity rate in manuscripts is 20%.)
Articles that are not suitable for the journal in terms of subject and content are rejected.
If the writing rules are not suitable for the journal, the author is asked to resubmit.
Referee Process
After the Editor evaluations, the Referee evaluation is made on the basis of double blind refereeing.
The field editor sends each article to 2 referees. The articles that both referees give a positive report are submitted for publication decision. (Even if there is a positive report from 2 referees, the decision to publish the articles belongs to the Editorial Board)
If the editor deems necessary, a third referee may be assigned to an article with a negative report by one of the referees.
Revisions from the referees are forwarded to the relevant authors.
If the referees do not find the revisions appropriate, the article is RETRACTED.
Author Process
If the authors cannot complete the revision, the article is RET.
After the author completes the appropriate revisions, the article is taken into the publication process.
Publication Process
After typesetting, the article is sent to the author for final check.
The Language Editor reviews the articles and ensures that the necessary corrections are made by contacting the author regarding deficiencies/errors.
Page Layout Process
DOI numbers are taken.
Cover pages are prepared.
Headers and footers of the articles are edited.
Final checks are made on the typesetting and it is prepared for publication.The journal is published.
