Abstract

Chronic inflammatory gingival enlargement, comprises any clinical condition in which an increase in the size of the gingiva is observed. Chronic inflammatory gingival enlargement, is a common feature of gingival disease, which may result from chronic inflammatory changes. When the literatures are evaluated, it is encountered that there are many studies about several surgical techniques have been used towards alleviating these enlargement areas. The purpose of this review is to give general information about chronic inflammatory gingival enlargement and laser-assisted gingivectomy and gingivoplasty techniques used in treatment of gingival enlargement and post-operative healing process

Abstract

 

Özet

Kronik enflamatuvar dişeti büyümeleri, kronik enflamatuvar değişikliklerin sonucu olan, dişetinde hacimsel artışın klinik olarak gözlemlendiği, sık görülen bir dişeti hastalığıdır. Literatür araştırması yapıldığında; kronik enflamatuvar dişeti büyümelerinin tedavisinde pek çok cerrahi tekniğin kullanımıyla ilgili farklı çalışmalara rastlanmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı; kronik enflamatuvar dişeti büyümeleri ve tedavilerinde kullanılan lazer ile gingivektomi ve gingivoplasti yöntemleri ve operasyon sonrası iyileşme durumları hakkında bilgi vermektir.

Journal’s publication language is English.


CDJ accepts articles in English. Submitting a paper to CDJ is free of charges. In addition, CDJ has not have article processing charges.
