Sabit ortodontik tedavi sonrası retansiyon
Abstract
Retention includes the procedures, which are applied to preserve the outcomes of orthodontic treatment and is an inseparable part of the treatment. Relapse, which is seen at postretention period, is affected by several factors including growth pattern, type of original malocclusion and type of treatment. This review implies the factors affecting relapse and the actual retention procedures, which are applied after fixed orthodontic treatment.
