Platform switch konsepti nedir?

Öz

Dental implantların uzun dönem başarısı,implant etrafındaki krestal kemik desteğinebağlıdır. Krestal kemik miktarının korunmasındaplatform switch konseptinin etkili olduğudüşünülmektedir. Bu derlemede platform switchkonsepti ve onunla ilgili olan kullanılarak Pubmed ve Google Akademik veritabanında literatür taraması yapıldı. Elde edilenliteratürlerle konseptin etkisi üç ana başlık(biyomekanik davranış, krestal kemik seviyesi,yumuşak doku seviyesi) altında değerlendirildi.Platform switch konseptinin krestal kemik kaybınıazalttığı ve daha estetik sonuçların alındığınıgösteren çalışmaların yanısıra herhangi bir etkisininolmadığını gösteren çalışmalar da bulunmaktadır.Platform switch konseptinin etkinliğinindeğerlendirilmesi için uzun dönemli randomizeklinik çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.
