Bio
This is to advise you that I am an Assistant lecturer with the Department of Physiotherapy and a member of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences University of Calabar. I hold a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation degree in Physiotherapy from the prestigious University of Maiduguri and have completed my Master of Science degree in Neuro-physiotherapy at the Bayero University Kano. I have also passed the preliminary stage exam for consultant Physiotherapy at the National Physiotherapy College of Nigeria and am currently in the intermediate stage as an associate in the Faculty of Neurology and mental health physiotherapy. I am interested in research in Physical activity or exercise in health and diseases, Mental health, and neuro physiotherapy, and have conducted some studies in the area. I have been involved in peer review and have reviewed a couple of journals including the Bulletin of Faculty of Physical Therapy and the Journal of Diabetes and metabolic disorders. Additionally, I have conducted some studies on cardiovascular responses following submaximal exercise. I am open to international collaboration and am currently a collaborator in a global study on lifestyle and mental health among freshmen.
