Nasopalatine Duct Cysts - 3 Case Series and Literature Review

Öz

Nasopalatine duct cyst, also known as incisive duct, arises from the embryological residue of the nasopalatine duct. It is a developmental, epithelial and nonodontogenic cyst. It is localized in the midline in the palatinal anterior region and is usually detected during routine radiographic examination. In this study, three nasopalatine duct cysts which were operated in our clinic have been reported and literature information related to the diagnosis, treatment and other features of this cyst type has been investigated.

Öz

Nazopalatin kanal kisti ya da diğer adıyla insiziv kanal kisti, nazopalatin kanalın embriyolojik kalıntılarından meydana gelir. Gelişimsel, epitelyal ve non-odontojenik bir kisttir. Palatinal ön bölgede orta hatta lokalize olup genellikle rutin radyografik muayene sırasında tespit edilir. Bu yazıda kliniğimizde opere edilen üç adet nazopalatin kanal kisti olgusu bildirilmiş ve bu kist tipinin tanı, tedavi ve özellikleriyle ilgili literatür derlemesine yer verilmiştir.
