Abstract

CURRENT PERIODONTAL SPLINTS

Year 2019, Volume: 6 Issue: 1, 105 - 109, 01.04.2019

Abstract

Depending on the disability of the supportive tissues for various reasons,
the increased mobility of the permanent teeth should be splinted to support
periodontal healing and successful periodontal treatment.
Many types of periodontal splints are mentioned in the
literature. In this article, the types of splint which used in increased teeth
mobility caused by periodontal damage and their usage principles are reviewed
in the light of current literature.
