ANDROJEN RESEPTÖR GENİ VE JİNEKOLOJİ, İNFERTİLİTE VE ONKOLOJİ İÇİN KLİNİK ÖNEMİ

Abstract

Bu derlemede androjen reseptör geni ve jinekoloji, onkoloji ve infertilite için klinik önemi araştırılmıştır. “Androjen reseptör” kelimesi girilerek Medline ve PubMED de yer alan ve 1990 ve 2009 yıllarını kapsayan literatürler gözden geçirilmiştir. Androjen reseptörü, spermatogenezi ve erkek seksüel fenotiplerini belirleyen androjen etkisini regüle eder. Androjen reseptöründeki konstitüsyonel mutasyonlar çeşitli formlardaki erkek psödohermafroditizmine yol açar. AR CAG tekrar uzunluğundaki varyasyonlar bazı kanserler, pelvik organ prolapsusu, osteoporoz, polikistik hastalarda görülen hiperandrojenemi, metabolik sendrom ve erkek infertilitesi ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Reprodüktif tıp, jinekoloji ve onkolojinin klinik pratiğinde genetik araştırmalar, standart bir gereksinim olmaya başlamıştır.
