Trabzon’da Bedensel Engelli Bireyler Destek Eğitim Programı’na katılan bireylerin son beş yıldaki performans gelişimlerini etkileyen faktörlerin analizi

Abstract

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı Bedensel Engelli Bireyler Destek Eğitim Programı’na katılan bireylerin performanslarındaki değişikliklerin belirlenmesi ve performanslarına etki edebilecek faktörlerin incelenmesi idi.

Yöntem: Çalışma Trabzon Rehberlik ve Araştırma Merkezi’ne kayıtlı 120 bireyin dosya bilgileri (53 kız, 67 erkek) ile gerçekleştirildi. 2012-2016 yılları arasındaki performans değişimleri, Performans Belirleme Formunda yer alan beceri modüllerindeki seviye artış miktarları ile değerlendirildi. Performanslarındaki değişimin sosyodemografik özellikler ile olan ilişkisi tanı grupları arasında incelendi. Tanı grupları: sınıflandırılmamış serebral palsi (SP), myelomeningosel, mental motor retardasyon (MMR), spina bifida, spastik tetraparezi, hemiplejik SP ve paraplejik SP olarak kaydedildi.

Bulgular: Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 13,1±6,4 yıldı. Annelerin % 16’si, babaların % 98’i meslek sahibi idi. Ailelerin ekonomik durumları: % 19’u kötü, % 68’i normal, % 13’ü iyi düzeyde idi. 2012 - 2016 yılı performans değerlendirmeleri arasındaki fark, artış yönünde anlamlı idi (p<0,05). Yıllara göre MMR tanısına sahip bireylerin kaba motor beceri modüllerinde iki seviye ilerledikleri görüldü (p<0,05). Ekonomik durum ile performans gelişimi arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki vardı (p<0.05). Tanı gruplarına göre performans (modül değişimi) bakımından cinsiyetler arasında fark yoktu (p>0,05).

Sonuç: Destek Eğitim Programı bireylerin kaba motor becerilerini geliştirmede etkin bir hizmettir. Ekonomik durum, bireylerin yaşları ve tanı farklılığı bu gelişimi etkileyen faktörlerdir. Kayıtlardaki mevcut veri eksikliği de önemli bir bariyerdir.
