ORTODONTİDE HIZLI DİŞ HAREKETİ UYGULAMALARI

Year 2013, Volume: 22 Issue: 2, 178 - 182, 01.06.2013

Abstract

Toplumun bilinçlenmesine bağlı olarak
ortodontik tedavi gereksinimi duyan hasta sayısının
giderek artması ve günümüzde zaman kavramının
gerek hekim gerekse hasta açısından önem
kazanması, araştırıcıların dikkatini ortodontik
tedavilerin daha kısa sürede tamamlanabilmesi
üzerine yoğunlaştırmıştır. Ortodontik tedavilerdeki
en önemli problemlerden biri olan uzun tedavi
süresini kısaltmak amacıyla uygulanan mekanik
kuvvetin arttırılması kök rezorpsiyonu, periodontal
liflerde hasar ve hyalinizasyon dokusu oluşması gibi
birçok istenmeyen durumun ortaya çıkmasına sebep
olmaktadır
Derlememizde literatürde bildirilmiş olan ortodontik
diş hareketini hızlandıran uygulamalardan
bahsedilmektedir.

The Applications of Accelerated Orthodontic Tooth Movement

Year 2013, Volume: 22 Issue: 2, 178 - 182, 01.06.2013

Abstract

With increasing awareness of the society
and more patients who seek orthodontic treatment,
nowadays the concept of treatment duration is
important for the doctor and the patient, so the
researchers focused their attention on shortening
the duration of orthodontic treatment. One of the
most important problems in orthodontic treatment
is increasing the mechanical orthodontic force in
order to shorten the duration of treatment that
causes side effects like root resorption, periodontal
damage, and hyalinization tissue formation.
This article aims to give information about the
accelerated orthodontic tooth movement
applications in the literature
