Fibers in Prosthetic Dentistry

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 1 - 27, 30.06.2021

Abstract

Nowadays, dental restorations that made with fiber-reinforced materials are increasingly common. Fibers are used in many areas of dentistry due to its various advantages such as being biocompatible with dental tissue, having good aesthetic properties, requiring less preparation in dental tissue, having similar elastic modulus with tooth, simplicity of the production process and low treatment cost. The purpose of this review is to provide an overview of fibers use in prosthetic dental treatment.

Protetik Diş Hekimliğinde Fiberler

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 1 - 27, 30.06.2021

Abstract

"The truest guide for everything in the world, for civilization, for life, for success, is science. Seeking a guide outside of science and science is heedlessness, ignorance, and deviating from the right path. It is only necessary to understand the development of science and science in every minute we live and to follow the progress in time. To attempt to apply the rules of science and science a thousand, two thousand, and thousands of years ago, today, after so many thousand years, is, of course, not to be in science and science."
