Endodontik Tedavili Molar Dişlerin CAD/CAM ile Endokron Restorasyonu: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Aşırı madde kaybına sahip kök kanal tedavili dişlerin restorasyonunda birçok farklı tedavi seçeneği bulunmaktadır. Adeziv sistemlerin ve tam seramik uygulamalarının gelişmesiyle birlikte bu gibi dişlerin restorasyonlarında post-kor ve kron uygulamaları yerini daha az invaziv tekniklere bırakmaktadır. Bu olgu raporunda aşırı madde kaybı bulunan molar dişin CAD/CAM endokron restorasyonu ile tedavisi anlatılmaktadır. CAD/CAM sistemiyle tek seansta üretilen endokronların estetik, yüksek mekanik performans, kısa sürede uygulanabilme, geçici protez ihtiyacını ortadan kaldırma, çapraz kontaminasyonun önüne geçme, ideal marjinal uyum ve proksimal kontak gibi avantajlara sahip olmaları nedeniyle kanal tedavili dişlerin restorasyonunda diş hekimleri tarafından sıklıkla tercih edilmektedir.

Endocrown Restorations of Endodontically Treated Molar Teeth With CAD/CAM: A Case Report

Abstract

There are various treatment options for the restoration of root canal treated teeth with extensive coronal destruction. With the development of adhesive systems and full ceramic applications, restoration of such teeth with post-core and crown are being replaced by less invasive techniques. This case report describes the endocrown restoration of a molar tooth which has excessive material loss, by using CAD/CAM. Endocrowns fabricated in single visit with the CAD/CAM system are preferred by dentists in the restoration of root canal treated teeth due to their advantages such as aesthetics, high mechanical performance, application in a short time, eliminating the need for temporary prostheses, preventing cross contamination, ideal marginal fit and proximal contact.
