Abstract

Gülüşü etkileyen pek çok faktör vardır. Güzel
bir gülüş için özellikle yüz biçimiyle ve dudak yapısıyla uyumlu dişlere sahip
olmamız gerekir. Diş hekiminin yapacağı restoratif tedavinin, hastanın
görünüşü, gülümsemesi ve genel psikolojisi üzerine yapacağı olumlu etki gözardı
edilemez. Diastema, çeşitli etyolojik faktörler nedeniyle iki diş arasında
görülen boşluklardır. Polidiastema ise ikiden fazla diş arasında görülen
boşluklardır. Polidiastemanın estetik rehabilitasyonunda direkt, indirekt
kompozit laminalar ve porselen laminalar ile porselen veneer kronlara kadar
birçok yöntem kullanılmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda, kliniğimize başvuran iki
hastanın maksiller anterior bölgedeki polidiastemalarının direkt kompozit rezin
laminalar ile tedavisi sunulmaktadır.

Abstract

There
are many factors affecting smile. For a good smile, having teeth that are
particularly compatible with the shape of the face and lip structure are
required The positive effect that the dentist's restoration will have on the
patient's appearance, smile and general mental health cannot be underestimated.
Diastema is the gap between two teeth due to various etiological factors. Polydiastema
is the term used for the gaps among multiple teeth. Plenty of treatment methods
including direct, indirect composite laminas, porcelain laminas and porcelain
veneer crowns are used in the aesthetic rehabilitation of polydiastema. In this
case report, we present two cases of direct composite resin laminate treatment
of polydiastema in the maxillary anterior region of two patients who were referred
to our clinic.
