ENGELLİ HASTADA ÜÇÜNCÜ MOLAR DİŞ ÇEKİMİ İLE İLİŞKİLİ TUBER MAKSİLLA KIRIĞI

Abstract

Fiziksel veya mental yetersizliği olan
hastalarda ağız ve diş sağlığı işlemleri çoğunlukla sedasyon veya genel
anestezi altında gerçekleştirilebilmekte olup, bu tür bireyler ağız ve diş
sağlığı hizmetlerine ulaşım açısından yetersiz imkânlara sahip olabilmektedir.
Olumsuz ağız hijyeni, dişlerde çürük artışı, ağız kokusu şikâyetleri ve uzun
dönemde dişlerin erken kaybına bağlı olarak fonksiyon eksikliği ile
karşılaşılabilmektedir. Bu makalede ataksik serabral palsi ve mental
retardasyonun birlikte izlendiği 23 yaşındaki engelli erkek hastada üst üçüncü
molar dişin çekimi esnasında maksillada gelişen tuber kırığı olgusu güncel
literatür ışığında sunulmaktadır.
