Mandibula Ramus Bölgesinde Lokalize Kompleks Odontoma: Cerrahi Sonrası 1 Yıllık Takip

Abstract

Odontomalar benign özellikte, agresif olmayan lezyonlardır ve çene kemiklerinin en fazla görülen odontojenik tümörleridir. Dental dokulardan köken alırlar, radyolojik ve histolojik özelliklerine göre kompound ya da kompleks odontoma olarak sınıflandırılırlar. Kompleks odontomalar daha az sıklıkla görülürler ve genellikle radyolüsent halo ile çevrelenmiş küçük radyoopak kitle olarak rutin radyolojik muayenede saptanırlar. Benign tümörler olmalarına rağmen çenelerde kırık/enfeksiyona yatkınlık oluşturacak şekilde fasiyal asimetriye ve kemik yoğunluğunda azalmaya neden olabilecek büyük hacimlere ulaşabilirler. Bu olgu sunumunda orta yaşlı bir kadın hastada mandibula sağ ramus bölgesindeki odontomanın cerrahi tedavisinin güncel literatür bilgileri ışığında sunulması amaçlanmaktadır.
